Socks that support Down Syndrome awareness. Our co-founder and inspiration has Down syndrome, so it is only natural that we create Down Syndrome Socks.
Our Down Syndrome Awareness socks incorporate the number 21 mirrored to create 3 hearts in the middle, this is to symbolise the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.
The yellow and blue colours of the heart have been selected to resemble the blue and yellow ribbon which was first used by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to promote awareness and acceptance. Since then, the colours have become a symbol of the Down Syndrome community worldwide.
These specially designed socks have been created to help us to get people talking, raise Down Syndrome Awareness, End The Stereotypes and Stand 4 an amazing cause.
