DAY 21 - Meet William Jervis - A Champion in Karate & Life! 🥋

Today, we’re celebrating William Jervis, a 17-year-old with an undeniable passion for karate, family, friends, and the dream of dancing with Dianne Buswell on Strictly Come Dancing!

William has been training since the age of nine, and his dedication is unmatched. Holding a 1st Kyu belt, he’s just one step away from earning his black belt! He dedicates over eight hours a week to his training with LE Karate Academy and has earned his place on the National Karate Association Elite Squad and the English Karate Federation National Para Squad. His goal is to represent England at the European Senior Karate Championships in Yerevan this May! 🌍

William’s Karate Achievements:

🥇 BKF British Grand Prix 2025 – Gold
🥇 EKF Kyu Grades Championships – Gold (2025, 2024)
🥈 Berlin Open 2024 – Silver
🥇 BKF British Four Nations – Gold (2023, 2022), Silver (2024)
🥇 BKF British International Championships – Gold (2024, 2023, 2022)
🥇 EKF English Championships – Gold (2024, 2023, 2022)
🏆 And many more national and international titles!

Not only is William a fierce competitor, but he’s also a natural leader—mentoring younger students and even leading warm-ups at his training sessions.
